New Age of computer mobility

Back when the first portable computers came out, they were big clunky and heavy machines with a 30-minute battery life. Nevertheless, it was an exciting step forward, and that very few have ever expected would lead us to today's technology. The idea of mobile computing was something that was held as a dream of science fiction authors, but the first notebooks actually made this dream a reality.

Will be freed from a big computer terminal in a Dilbert cubicle-like was something that presented a new found freedom for business professionals around the world. Have the full functionality of a regular computer, laptop computers were the lifeblood of any businessman and today it is the driving force behind the massive growth in mobile computing.

The Internet opened yet more roads for mobile computing, and in recent years its becoming very focus of our technological progress. We no longer want to use just the computers go, we want it all. Remote PC access software delivered a very necessary way to connect to the computers remotely, and some of the latest advances in the field of mobile phones and mini computers.

The latest smart phones are really nothing but small "computers" in itself. With a great deal of internet connectivity and wide coverage is all over the world it really is the perfect device for mobile computing. Even though its still in its infancy, the potential is obvious and, with the release of the Apple iPad presented we again with a device that holds great promise.

This can be the perfect device for all who want it all with the functionality of a laptop computer, see an iPod and mobility for an iPhone. While many critics claim that the iPad is still just a gimmick, bound the next generation of mobile computers to improve on this "prototype" and take mobile computing in the next phase of development.

With screens get leaner, power to get lower and improvement of the performance, we are very close to have full power mobile computers, which incorporates the speed, efficiency and convenience that we all are waiting for. Days carry a mobile phone, a laptop computer to me MP3 player and a USB modem may soon come to an end and reveals itself in the elegant device that has it all.

The speed of development is hard with all the big names such as HP, Dell and Sony to come on board, and with each unit improvement on its predecessor, we may soon have a solution that not only practical but also affordable.
